Expanding Universe is set to carry a penalty for his latest win at Ffos Las 3m heavy and appears to be suited by today's conditions.
Thinger Licht has the highest winning rating but that was early 2013 and since then his handicap mark has been dropping faster than a Hooker's Knickers. The French bred is still only a 6-y-o so time is on his side.

Carroll is second in the list of trainers at the course and both jockeys have a good strike at Leicester.

With Expanding Universe declared a non runner the bet looked vulnerable.

I asked for and got 20.0 on Betfair for Thinger Licht.
As I was going out and not sure I would be back in time for the race I left a lay bet for 11.0 as the odds after the withdrawal were 16 something. The bet was taken before the off.
