Cheltenham 2-10

Vyta Du Roc was a winner of one of the RSA Chase

Trials (Sodexo Reynoldstown Novices' Chase) after

being upped to 3 miles and looks a sporting e-way bet at

the odds of 11/1 to upset more fancied horses. More Of

That is still a Novice and the Gigginstown House Stud

pair look like providing the most danger."

Vyta Du Roc 1pt e-way at 12/1 (B.O.G)

Cheltenham 1.30

"England needs a superstar to come through the ranks

or next years key races will again be heading to

Ireland.Alan King's Yanworth may fit the bill but he will

need to win this before going on to bigger things.

Unbeaten in four hurdle starts including a Class 1 grade

2 course win over 20f, he has the re-directed Yorkhill to

overcome to raise the English Novice hurdlers profile."

Yanworth 1 pt win 2.5 (B.O.G)

Tuesday 15 March 2016

Cheltenham 4-50

"According to statistics the top rated horse has won 3

from the last 5. Vicente trained by Paul Nicholls on 153

is today's top rated. Like most of the field the distance is

a leap into the unknown but he has won over 25f and if

able to cope with the extra distance may be good value

e-way at 16/1.

Southfield Royale with Nina Carberry up should also run

well."

1pt eway  Vicente 17.0 (B.O.G)
Cheltenham  2.10

"Douvan is the banker of the meeting and he looks a

penalty kick to keep intact his 100% record since joining

Willie Mullins. The only danger is the fences."

Douvan 1pt win 1.4

Monday 14 March 2016

Cheltenham 1.30.

The Irish like to kick-start the festival with a winner and

generally do so. Willie Mullins has three shots at the board to

continue his domination of the race and I expect him to again

have the winner. Min has done nothing wrong and I expect

him to live up to the hype and win the race.

Bellshill looks an able deputy if things go wrong.

Min 1 pt win 3.75 (B.O.G)

Bellshill  1/2 pt eway at 15.0 (B.O.G)

Monday 7 March 2016

Have been under the weather the last few days, I hope to get back to normal very soon.

Thursday 3 March 2016

Profit stands at 14.42 pts.
Top Wood  won at 10.0 (B.O.G)

Ralphy Lad ran a shocker and finished last.

Strike rate for March is 80%.
Thursday 3rd March 2016

Southwell 3.25

M Appleby's runners have to be feared at Southwell and

he has 2 of the 5 runners in the race. Weald Of Kent is

seeking a hat-trick of course and distance wins. He has

been raised 7lbs and is upped in class but should make

a bold bid. Ralphy Lad runs for the G A Swinbank stable

who have won 2 of the last 3 runnings of the race. He

often races in a higher grade than today and is selected

to go one better than his last 4 runs.

Ralphy Lad  i point win 3.5 (B.0.G)

Ludlow 3.40.

A tricky looking race where a case can be made out for

most of the field. Top Wood ran a close 2nd in the Class

2 Coral Welsh Grand National Trial over today's distance

and is entered in a 26f race at the festival. Stamina is no

problem here but he can be moody, but a repeat of that

Chepstow run should see him going close here. An e-

way bet at 13/2 looks the order of play."

Top Wood 1/2 point eway 7.5  (B.O.G)

Wednesday 2 March 2016
